About Dr. Dich Lu
Dr. Lu was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Toronto, in Canada. Following graduation, he immediately began to seek out continuing education (CE) opportunities. Committed to providing his patients with the widest range of comfortable, effective dental care and wanting to offer them access to the latest proven technologies, Dr. Lu takes CE courses throughout the year.
He’s studied extensively on topics related to implant dentistry, Invisalign®, cosmetic dentistry and developing oral appliances for patients who snore or suffer sleep apnea and cannot tolerate a CPAP machine.
Dr. Lu has trained at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI), specializing in cosmetic dentistry, and at the Denmat facilities where he learned about Lumineers® veneers. His implant training occurred at the renowned Engel Institute for Dental Implants.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lu. I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years (!!!) and was quite nervous. Dr. Lu allayed my nervousness, explained everything well, answered my questions, was gentle in his examination, and made me feel I was in exceptionally competent and caring hands. Dr. Lu's hygienist was great, too, as well as the office staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Lu for any of your dental needs!!!

Today was my first time visiting this dental practice, and what a positive experience it was! I had been experiencing tooth pain/discomfort, and was very anxious/hesitant to see a dentist for treatment. When the pain became too great to bear, I contacted Healthy Smiles. To my relief, they were able to get me a same day appointment (his staff is so nice!). I met Dr. Lu, and immediately felt at ease. He was friendly, knowledgable, and compassionate. He took the time to listen, learn, and investigate where the source of my pain was coming from. Once he discovered my “problem tooth”, he explained the options at hand. Dr. Lu himself went over the treatment plan (w/the associated cost for services), and was not pushy at all. The treatment estimate was detailed/descriptive, and his pricing was very fair..so I immediately asked him to go to work on my teeth!
Dr. Lu gave me the option of wearing headphones (and watching a movie), which was a great distraction. He walked me through every step of the procedure (which I so appreciated), and he had the most gentle hands! He numbed me up so well that I never felt any pain or discomfort (PTL), and I felt more than confident in his skills/capabilities. 2.5 hours sitting in his chair, and he never once rushed or made me feel like I was dominating his precious time. Dr. Lu finished phase 1 of my treatment today, and his office was amazing enough to get me back in for a 2nd appointment tomorrow (so I wouldn’t have to wait until next week)! I feel blessed for having met Dr. Lu and his staff. Couldn’t recommend him more!

They communicated clearly everything that was going on with my dental health and offered detailed explanations of what work was and is going to be done this visit and beyond.
