She received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Pediatric Dentistry from Boston University in Massachusetts where she was awarded the prestigious Dr. Richard Allard Award in Pediatric Dentistry in 2017. Dr. Ghaly is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and has extensive training in sedation and laser dentistry, which allows her to offer comfortable dental care to extremely anxious children and those with special care needs. Dr. Ghaly is certified in laser dentistry and has numerous OR cases under her belt. Dr. Ghaly has always had a strong commitment and passion towards pediatric dentistry and specifically in the special needs population which led her to develop a new full curriculum aiming to educate future pediatric dentists on multiple special needs related topics and on the necessity of integrating the special needs patients in a regular clinic setting. Dr. Ghaly is currently an assistant professor at Boston University and Boston Medical Center at the pediatric dentistry department.
