Dr. Majeed performs general and cosmetic dentistry, implantology, oral surgery, orthodontic, and pediatric dentistry. She continued her pursuit of dentistry by attending the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and certification of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Majeed has participated in many dental outreach programs, providing care to underserved communities with Mission of Mercy Virginia and Mobile Dental Clinics in New York City. I arrived at my scheduled time, only to be told that in fact they had moved the appointment up one hour, so I was late and could not see the dentist. They said they tried to notify me repeatedly of this time change. Although they had the correct number on file, I never received any notice that the appointment time had been changed. Instead of apologizing, I was told that it was my fault for not responding to their messages (which I never received). At first, she said that it was my fault for not leaving the correct phone number; but when she realized the number was correct, she blamed me for not responding. Not only was I never notified of the time change, but I received a text and email that very day verifying the time of my appointment, and showed up at that time. I never saw the dentist, and don't want her to be blamed for the office's mismanagement. I'm sure she's excellent, but the office needs better operational processes and communication.
