When an extraction has to happen he explains the whole process and doesn't leave you wondering. He is very experienced with implants & even teaches how to do them. I won't see another dentist!”

Dr. Galasso obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He completed an externship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York – Main Hospital, in Maxillo-Facial Prosthodontics, followed by a two-year post-graduate program leading to a Certificate in Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry. In addition, he completed a two-year fellowship in Surgical and Restorative Implant Dentistry at New York University. He is now a Clinical Associate Professor in both the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry as well as the Department of Post-Graduate Prosthodontics at NYU. Dr. Galasso lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of esthetic, fixed, and removable implant dentistry. He is a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration. He also serves on the advisory board for Thommen Medical, a Swiss implant manufacturer. Dr. Galasso has been working in private practice for over 20 years. He specializes in surgical procedures-including extractions, socket preservation, bone grafting, sinus elevations, and implant placement-as well as restorative procedures related to implant dentistry. Additionally, he performs periodontal treatments such as gum surgery, along with all phases of restorative and cosmetic/esthetic dentistry.

Comedy in a dental chair. Thats exactly what it was. I came in for my first implant last week and it went smooth. It was my first time at this office and I felt like i've known the Dr. for years. He made me feel comfortable so I knew I made the best choice.

I was really mervous at first, but he made me feel relaxed. He offered me nitrous and after I was in heaven. My implant couldn't be more beautiful.

I thought this would be a very long wait like the rest of the offices in New York. It was quick and Dr. Galasso talked me through everything he was doing. The filling I got done today was pretty deep, but he was able to save it. Thank God.
