About Dr. Dragos Sandulescu
Dr. Dragos developed a true love and passion for dentistry very early on while working in his family-owned dental laboratory in New York City. He continued to work as a laboratory technician while pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University, advancing his general dentistry skills to concentrate on full-mouth reconstruction.
A perfectionist in his field, Dr. Dragos has been featured as “America's Top Dentist” for many years and recognized by the International Academy of Dental Esthetics as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for achieving outstanding esthetic results in all his cosmetic treatments.
Considered a pioneer in cosmetic dentistry and an expert in full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Dragos served as a professor of Prosthodontics at New York University and Fairleigh Dickinson University for many years before opening his second location in Rockville Centre, Long Island.

I had a full smile makeover with Dr. Dragos and he did amazing work! He and his team (all are wonderful and caring) were great with scheduling and with attention to detail to get my smile looking amazing. People who have commented have asked if I had my teeth whitened...which is exactly the affect that I had hoped for: All of my teeth look bright, healthy and natural. Only close friends and family know that I had my entire smile and missing teeth restored. I have had dental problems my whole life- braces twice, failed root canals, infection and crowns that were not always done properly or aesthetically pleasing or attractive. I finally have a beautiful smile! Dr. Drago new exactly what to do every step of the way and was very compassionate (as was his staff) in dealing with my fears and anxiety from past experiences and disappointments. I spent a fortune over the years and now, I finally had it done right. My gratitude for Dr. Dragos and his staff cannot be put into words... When I had implant surgery and some discomfort, Dr Dragos called me at home on numerous occasions to check in on me to make sure everything was ok- and it was over a holiday weekend. He and his staff went above and beyond and I have never felt more confident with a dentist. Having a major restoration is a lot of work...its a big deal. Dr Dragos worked very hard on my restoration and never did I feel like it wasn't going to work out fine. Thanks again Dr Drago, Anca and the rest of the wonderful staff! 5 stars all the way :-D

He was nice. Machine wouldn't stay still to take an xray of my teeth and the nurse spent 30 mins trying to adjust it. It was killing my mouth trying to wait for the machine to take the picture while she was trying to control it from moving around. Not great.

Dr.Dragos is the best dentist! Very warm and friendly. Gentle touch, didn't feel a thing! His staff was pleasant. The office is charming. Nice view of Rockefeller center especially during Christmas season. Dr.Dragos is my go to! and has my highest recommendation. This office is a gem. Thank you Dr.Dragos!

He is a gem! Great professional who is truly caring. He is very personable, polite and thorough. Not only treats you with utmost respect but also fully explains in simple terms what is he doing and makes you part of the process. I was seeing on emergency basis, but his assistant Crystal, went out of her way to help me. His gentleman-like behavior and demeanor is only enhanced by his excellent, smile-ready, "here to serve you" staff. They made a huge difference and left me with a great feeling of being cared for. I'd highly recommend Dr.Dragons. He is the quintessential example what all doctors should aspire to be.

Very pleasant dentist visit. I cant recall a time when a visit to the dentist was so relaxing and nice. The view is a great feature of Dr. Dragos' office and together with the decor contributes on making the environment hospitable and relaxing. The technicians and staff were very nice and polite and Dr. Dragos was very considerate to my discomfort during the procedures and very good-nature and approachable. Overall it was the best experience I ever had at a dental office.

It was the BEST dental visit. The staff was accommodating and professional. The views were breathtaking from the office. Dr. Sandulescu was extremely thorough and took his time to explain everything to me. His staff was phenomenal. He even showed me a new cavity that he discovered on one of my teeth. I'm looking forward to my next dental visit. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Sandulescu as my dentist for 26 years. He is excellent and has to be one of the best in Manhattan - of unquestioned competence and totally committed to keeping the patient as comfortable as possible. One can sense his dedication to his craft, to providing superior care, and to keeping ones own particular mouth in optimal condition and appearance. He is also a thoroughly nice guy with a good sense of humor and seemingly inexhaustible patience.

Dr. Dragos is excellent - he is thorough, attentive, and explains procedures with patience. I had a deep cleaning recently and remarkably felt very little discomfort during, but particularly after the procedure.

I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Dragos. I have been his patient for over 15 years. Laminates? He did a great job on mine in 2000. They look great. It gave me a youthful and happy smile. Dr. Dragos also takes care of all my other dental needs with expert skills, compassion, and kindness. He listens to his patients which I appreciate. I give him my highest recommendations.
