About Dr. Edmund Young
Dr. Edmund Young received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. He also earned a Master's in Public Health from San Francisco State University. He completed his dental residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY.
Before dental school, Dr. Young served as a volunteer caring for the underserved communities at the Berkeley Free Clinic in Berkeley, CA. It was there that he saw firsthand the ability of dental care to transform lives - by alleviating pain, impacting overall health, and improving appearance and self-esteem. In his current patient care, he emphasizes preventative measures and education in maintaining excellent oral health.
Dr. Young grew up with an interest in drawing (a trait he shares with his father); a keen eye for photography; and an appreciation of good design and architecture, which he explored during a summer program at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Nowadays, Dr. Young continues to work on his photography. He also enjoys cooking, traveling the world to learn about different cultures, and playing ice hockey whenever he can get some ice time.

Absolutely recommend Dr Young and the whole practice. From start to finish, it was a seamless and delightful experience. The front desk team was communicative and efficient, dental hygienists were kind and helpful, and Dr Young was one of the best dentists I've had. It was my first time seeing him and I really feel like I found my new dentists office!

Such a wonderful team and office! I always dread cleanings and judgmental dentists / hygienist but Dr Young and his team were sweet, patient and gentle. I am so grateful I found them.

The technician and the doctor were both welcoming and accommodating, but the most impressive part was the (lack of) wait time. I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes, my exam actually started within a couple minutes of entering the exam room, and checkout was a 30 second process. Would definitely go back.
