About Dr. Edward Lorents

Dr. Lorents earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. He taught at the OU College of Dentistry in removable and fixed prosthodontic clinics for three years as a part-time faculty member. Since graduating, he has continued to advance his dental knowledge and expertise through several postdoctoral courses, including Implantology, Implant Prosthodontics, Advanced Bone Grafting, and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. Because of his advanced skills, he has placed and restored over 2,500 implants and teaches basic and advanced implant surgery to other dentists. His state-of-the-art private practice offers comprehensive digital dentistry, cone beam CT (CBCT) evaluation, and advanced CAD/CAM technology. In addition to providing his patients with advanced diagnostic and surgical care, Dr. Lorents believes in delivering top-of-the-line restorative dentistry. With his expertise in full-mouth crowns and implant restoration design, he created an in-house 3Shape dental laboratory to ensure quality care for every aspect of his patients’ treatment. Additionally, he and his wife own Sculpted Medical Spa, which provides aesthetic treatments such as Botox, fillers, PRP, and laser skin therapies. Dr. Lorents resides in Oklahoma City, OK, with his wife and two children. When not growing his practice, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, and tennis. He was the official Barons AHL hockey dentist, working with the NHL Oilers team and staff. Now, he helps local pro hockey leagues and beer leagues protect and restore their smiles. Dr. Lorents is a continuing education provider and live surgical training instructor at the WIIC Werhle Implant Immersion Course. He is a lecturer in Implantology, Digital CAD/CAM, and CBCT dentistry and a member of AAID, Dental XP, ADA, ODA, and AGD.
