About Dr. Efstathios Giannoutsos

At this time, we do not accept Medicaid or other government funded insurance plans.* Born and raised in the city of Astoria located in Queens, NY, Dr. Steve Giannoutsos (Dr. Steve) attended NYU College of Dentistry for his DDS and continued his education to become an orthodontist by attending NYU College of Dentistry, Orthodontics. His passion for continuing education did not stop there, and received training at the NYU School of Medicine Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and is currently an orthodontic craniofacial fellow. Dr. Steve joined Georgetown Orthodontics and Norwalk Orthodontics in 2008. He enjoys working with his colleagues, patients, and parents in helping achieve a perfect smile. Dr. Steve believes that orthodontic care is a form of art on the human body that is performed through the teeth. Seeing nervous patients who have been embarrassed by their smile for years finally spread their wings and regain confidence after orthodontic care is the joy that brings him to the office every day! Outside of the office, Dr. Steve enjoys mixed martial arts and racing cars. He loves to spend time with his wife, Michaele, and three daughters, Yana, Maria, and Sofia.
