About Dr. Elizabeth Kokareva
Dr. Elizabeth Kokareva was born in Havana, Cuba, where she completed her initial dental education at the Havana State Dental School. She later moved from Miami to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
Dr. Kokareva further advanced her dental skills in both general and advanced dentistry at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, training under some of New Jersey's top practicing dentists.
She brings a soft touch combined with a high degree of precision, treating each patient as if they were her own family.
Now settled in Waltham with her husband, Harout, and their son, Anton, Dr. Kokareva and Dr. Kotchinian look forward to becoming part of your community and warmly invite you to join their family practice at KoKo Dental Care.

The care team listened and were not only empathic but going forward explained everything in detail and gave me the time to prepare for what was next. I had such a great experience at the dentist today! I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist, but this visit really changed everything for me. I had a very positive experience for my initial visit. They took X-rays, cleaned my teeth, and discussed potential orthodontics treatment in the future. I was running 20 minutes late due to a major accident on the Mass Pike, but they still were able to see me (I called to give them a heads up). They also accept MassHealth which is amazing. I booked my next appointment and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a new dentist.

Patients choice to the power of 10. I could not more highly recommend this practice. Incredible in every way- most importantly managing the very real and sadly common fear many of us have of dentists and dentistry in general. It can be a shot in the dark choosing one of the so many dentists in this region- even if you have to drive a little farther (25 min for me) it is so worth it! Ila’s a new patient I got a same day appointment for an urgent matter. Again- I am so grateful - it was a review that got me there and o hope this one helps you!

A beautiful, well kept and clean office. The entire staff was so lovely and friendly. Very empathetic and took the time to explain everything clearly. I don't think I've ever had a more comfortable experience at the dentist office, in fact. I am normally nervous before a serious procedure, and while I still am a baby about pain, I am not nearly as scared for my root canal now as I would normally be.

This was truly the best dentist experience I've ever had. Everyone was warm and welcoming, the dental assistant was incredibly sweet and made me feel very comfortable right off the bat, and Dr. Kokavera was amazing. She explained every single thing to me, from understanding X-rays to cleaning to next steps and follow-up. The dentist encouraged me to tell her if something hurt, but for the first time in my life, the cleaning did not cause me any pain. She did not ridicule me for having any issues and gave me the autonomy to ask questions and advocate for myself if I was concerned or confused. I've had many negative experiences with dentists, dental assistants, and office staff, so to see a practice as lovely as this one existing and treating people with kindness and respect was absolutely astonishing. I will continue to go to this practice and highly recommend seeking them out if you are in search of a dentist and staff that bring a nuanced and caring perspective to treating patients.

Wonderful person! I have a lot of dental trauma from childhood and felt super comfortable. Dr. Kokareva was thorough and explained everything in depth and didn’t rush me when I had tons of questions to make sure I understood what the plan was going forward.
Great communicator and took time to explain all options to fix all of my teeth. Actually excited to get my root canals cause I trust I’m in great hands and won’t be in pain any longer.

Dr. Kokareva saw me for issues with my wisdom teeth and pain in my jaw. I was taken in early before my scheduled appointment. She was incredibly knowledgable and patiently answered all my questions. I usually have trouble taking x-rays yet the x-ray process at Dr. Kokareva's office was seamless and easy. Dr. Kokareva also performed my dental cleaning with was painless and thorough. The office had a beautiful modern aesthetic which put me at ease. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!
