Dr. Emily Sheppard is a talented and dedicated dental professional. She served the veteran community at the Lyons VA as part of their General Practice Residency (GPR) program. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to providing exceptional dental care, earning the Rutgers Dental esthetics award her senior year.
Prior to pursuing her career in dentistry, Dr. Sheppard graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College, where she excelled academically and honed her skills in various leadership roles. As a dental practitioner, she is passionate about patient education and preventative care, aiming to ensure her patients maintain optimal oral health.
Outside of her work, Dr. Sheppard enjoys spending time with her beloved Goldendoodle, George and staying active. Her compassionate and caring nature extends to her personal life, and she is known for her strong commitment to both her patients and her community.

The hygienist was kind, thorough, and gentle. Everything was prompt and friendly. The dentist offered to help with straightening or any other concerns but I didn’t feel they were trying to sell me any unnecessary services, which I really appreciated. As a new patient I was in and out in under an hour. Great experience, would recommend!

This place is Barbie’s dream dentist office! The sweetest, most patient staff ever. I felt so comfortable and respected by everyone from the second i walked in. Very knowledgeable and truly one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had at a docs office, if not the best. Don’t doubt!! Hurry up and book your appointment it will be worth it.

When I scheduled an appointment, I was contacted immediately for information needed, ie insurance, dental issues, medical history, etc. When I walked into the office, they called my name. I actually sat for a second and was called right away. The online information I provided had been viewed and the Dr. examined my gums and teeth, ordered X-rays and scheduled me for my next course of action. Impressed!!!!!

The only thing I felt a little bit upset about was the digital prescription wire to local CVS, somehow that was not connected well and took more than 45 minutes, and solved lastly through phone call
