About Dr. Eric Mead

Giving people a confident smile that can change their life is my passion. I understand people need options that fit different budgets, and we are here to help at Smile Today. I've been interested in dentistry since I was a teenager. My grandmother wore dentures and was never able to wear a new set because they didn't fit well. I want to change that for my patients and give them the best denture experience possible. I grew up in Heavener, a small town in eastern Oklahoma at the foothills of the Ouachita National Forest. I completed my bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Then, I attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and recieved my degree in 2014. After graduating from dental school, I returned to eastern Oklahoma and practiced for five years before deciding to move back to OKC. After returning, I gained more training and experience in placing dental implants, bone grafting, and dentures. ‍ My dream has been to start an office with an in-house lab so that I can offer my patients convenient, quality service in the same day. I have been able to accomplish this in Yukon, OK with the assistance of Jennifer Wheeler. With over 20 years of experience, she is able to create beautiful life-like dentures that have made countless patients Smile! With our team work, I’m confident we can provide you with excellent predictable results. My wife Jennifer will be your new favorite dental assistant! We live in Yukon about 10 minutes from the office with our three dogs: Chloe, Dani, and Piper. Friends and family are very important to us, so we travel often to see everyone across the state.
