About Dr. Eugene Stanislaus
DR STANISLAUS IS A FEE FOR SERVICE PROVIDER. PAYMENT IS EXPECTED AT TIME OF SERVICE. Dr. Stanislaus received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1984. He continued his education and training by completing a one-year general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In 1985, he acquired a dental practice then operated by his father, Dr. Lamuel Stanislaus, who retired the same year.
Dr. Eugene D. Stanislaus is a diplomate and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a graduate and fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute’s surgical and prosthetic programs. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
With over 2000 documented hours of continuing dental education, Dr. Stanislaus has obtained his credentials through rigorous testing and case presentations before his peers.
Dr. Stanislaus is committed to the delivery of the most advanced treatments for his patients, including the provision of dental implants for the replacement of missing teeth. He attained his surgical and prosthetic implant expertise from the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. There, he studied under the instruction of the renowned oral implantologist, Dr. Carl Misch. Patients visiting Dr. Stanislaus’ Brooklyn Heights practice benefit from his expertise as a cosmetic and restorative dentist. Dr. Stanislaus obtained this expertise through training at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study (now the Dawson Academy) with Dr. Peter Dawson, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education with Dr. Frank Spear and the Kois Center with Dr. John Kois. Dr. Stanislaus is also a certified provider of Invisalign® clear aligners, the virtually invisible orthodontic treatment.
In keeping with his commitment to treat his patients with state-of-the-art procedures, Dr. Eugene D. Stanislaus is one of only four dentists in New York City who are certified to provide the advanced LANAP (laser assisted new attachment procedure) periodontal treatment. This treatment uses the PerioLase® laser from Millennium Dental Technologies and is the only periodontal laser treatment approved by the FDA.

Dr. Stanislaus is a truly special dentist. His dental work itself is excellent and my filings are top-notch, and he also is an incredibly warm and kind doctor who feels like a person you've known for many years. It's worth it to me to travel at least a half hour to see him; I'd even go a full hour because I feel like I'm in excellent hands!

I was greeted nicely when I walked through the door and had a short waiting time. I knew what I going in for so my visit was less than 30 minutes. Although, I thought I would have been seen by Dr. Stanlislaus, I was just as content with the other DDS. He was straight and to the point, will be back, wish they accepted my insurance.

HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stanislaus and his exceptional team. I was a new patient (who now has scheduled their next appointment!). I had a dental emergency and his team got me in for quick attention. During this time of Covid-19, I naturally had anxieties in spending time anywhere and Dr. Stanislaus and his team spent time walking me thru their protocols--which was incredibly impressive and reassuring. My treatment was handled in such an exceptional manner with incredible ease--I almost fell asleep during the repair of my tooth. I woke up this morning with a large amount of pain from what I thought was a prior root canal issue from last year. Rather than go back to my previous Dentist, found Dr. Eugene's practice on a google search. I saw his office hours, and got dressed and walked right to that office. Despite being visibly busy, and just walking in, sight unseen, the receptionist was very sympathetic to my circumstance. Not only did she gave me an immediate consultation, but Dr. Stanislaus came out to introduce himself and give me some re-assurance. He then proceeded to assess my issue and extracted my cracked tooth (not root canal related as I suspected) WITHIN THE HOUR. That display of empathy, professionalism, and bedside manner is something all professionals should adopt again. Dr. Eugene will have a patient for life... Thank you

Dr. Stanislaus extracted my wisdom teeth in two surgeries, and I can't recommend him highly enough. My recovery time after both procedures was super quick (it's been 48 hours since my second set were removed and I'm back at work with no trouble), and the extractions themselves were painless (the office doesn't do general anesthesia but I felt nothing). Dr. S and all of the folks who work in the office are incredibly kind and professional and make it a point to follow up -- they truly care about their work and their patients.

Dr. Stanislaus is a true professional. He takes the quality of his work seriously, he is very focused on trying to make a visit to the dentist's office as pain-free as possible, and he is a nice man who takes time to get to know and spend time with his patients.
He is popular, so there are multiple patients there at any time, but you really wouldn't know it from the time he spends with each.
I love how focused he is on the quality of his work.
An example: I recently switched to his office and I have had to have two different procedures: a cavity filled and a crown for a back tooth. Both were done professionally and with a lot of communication to make sure I understood what he was doing.
With the crown, he asked me to come in for a quick look once the mold was sent off to make sure he got the color right to match my other teeth. As I mentioned, it's a back tooth, but he didn't say "Ah, no one will ever see it", instead he wanted it to be just as high quality as if it were a front tooth, visible to all.
That attention to detail, along with his personable personality, the focus of his office on making a dentist trip as pleasant as possible, and the whole team's overall professionalism has rewarded my decision to switch.
