About Dr. Eva Pleta
Dr. Eva M. Pleta graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland. She started a solo practice in Vienna, Virginia over 20 years ago. She is an active member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of General Dentistry. She was recently featured as a top dentist in the Washingtonian Magazine as nominated by her peers. She was also featured in the Virginia Living magazine. Dr. Pleta continues to strive for excellence by attending advanced courses in all aspects of General Dentistry, particularly in the field of cosmetic and implant dentistry. She has been a recipient of the Top Dentist award for several years by the Research Council of America. In her spare time, Dr. Pleta volunteers at the Northern Virginia Clinic and does house calls for the medically compromised and the homebound. She also enjoys traveling with her husband Tom, and their three children.

Dr. Pleta has been our family's dentist for years and years. I'm very anxious when it comes to dental care and she's always explained what she's doing and why. When I had a semi-traumatic dental need (I blame genetics), she did everything in her power to make treatment as pleasant as possible. She's amazing with our sons (now teens and young adults). She and her staff have cared for them and watched them grow up. She is always engaging and encouraging. How many kids say, "hey mom, don't forget to send a Holiday card to Dr. Pleta"?!

Doctor Pleta is the best dentist I have ever had. She and I have a plan to fix all of my teeth up so that they will outlast the the time after she retires from dentistry until I retire from life, so to speak. I fully trust her expertise and recommendations. She is an exceptionally skillful practitioner of “teeth magic,” whatever you want to call it, she has it.
A huge upvote for Jourdan, who keeps the office flowing with a personality you want to get to know, which I have. She’s wonderful, as are Zafaria, Anne (who cared for my teeth amazingly well over 10 years ago, elsewhere), Nicole and others.
I park at the door, walk right in, get sad when there’s not a lot of time to talk to Jourdan, catch up with Zafaria and Dr. Pleta and get excellent dental care and come back when recommended, mostly every 6 months.

Dr. Pleta and her staff (Jourdan, Zafaria, Nicole) are all so wonderful. I've been coming here for ~10 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr. Pleta is so caring, professional and friendly. She really takes the time to know her patients and make them feel comfortable. I always enjoy coming to see her and the staff. Very very highly recommend!
