About Dr. Fadi Tatari

With decades of experience under his belt, it will be easy to see Dr. Tatari’s genuine passion for helping people and developing meaningful relationships through his dental work from your very first appointment. He considers his patients and team members alike as part of his family!
Dr. Tatari grew up in Damascus, Syria and then moved to the United States in 1983. He chose to attend the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI for his dental education. After the completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1999, he decided to make Houston his permanent home!
Dr. Tatari is constantly pursuing new knowledge and advancements in the dental field. So far, he has taken over 400 hours of continuing education in many different specialties. For instance, he completed mini residencies in Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. He has attended countless advanced courses (totaling up to over 200 hours) in implant dentistry as a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He’s also trained at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, completing all of the core courses. In fact, he will be obtaining his Fellowship in May of 2019 in Cosmetic and Physiologic-Based Dentistry!

I had a cavity that got infected and I was in severe pain. I was given an antibiotic and told to come back in a week. After three days, the pain was worse and I could barely function. I called the office and the staff said she'd talk to the Dr. and would call me back in 10 minutes. 6 hours later, I called them back and had to leave a voicemail. By the next day I couldn't eat or talk and I was taking 600mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours to cope. I called them back at 10am, a different woman answered, did the same thing (told me she'd talk to him and call me back). Two hours later, nothing. I called back and the original woman answered, I professionally explained my frustration and she was very rude about it. Then without even talking to the doctor, put in a prescription for 600mg ibuprofen, which I'd already been doing and wasn't helping. I ended up going to an emergency dentist, and got my pain fixed immediately. Turns out, I was prescribed the WRONG ANTIBIOTIC. Never going back.
