About Dr. Fady Basili
Dr. Fady Basili brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to Smile Loft Dentistry, with a dedication to not only treating patients, but truly educating and empowering them. His philosophy of care is grounded in empathy, detail, and integrity, ensuring that every patient feels heard, understood, and cared for.
A proud New Jersey native, Dr. Basili grew up in the Garden State and has spent the past several years practicing in private dental offices throughout the region. He was ecstatic to join Smile Loft Dentistry, where he blends the patient-centered philosophy he has been developing with the practice’s own standard of excellence, working together to deliver unparalleled care to the community he calls home.
Dr. Basili earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During his time at UMSOD, he was selected for the prestigious CAD/CAM Specialty Clerkship, one of only four students chosen from his class. There, he mastered his skills in digital dentistry, using the latest technology to design and deliver quadrant restorations, implant crowns, smile designs, and fixed prosthetics with accuracy and esthetic excellence.
Recognized for his leadership and clinical performance, Dr. Basili was awarded the General Practice Directors’ Award at UMSOD and served as President of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), where he led outreach initiatives, mentored peers, and fostered a spirit of service and advocacy within the dental community. He is also a proud member of Gamma Pi Delta, the Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Dr. Basili believes that the best dentistry starts with listening. He’s passionate about delivering thorough, high-quality care and providing patients with the knowledge they need to make confident, informed decisions about their oral health.
