About Dr. Fariba Bigdeli
Dr. Bigdeli has been practicing dentistry for 25 years, specializing in orthodontics for 19 years. Her extensive knowledge and experience give patients confidence they will be satisfied and love their treatment results. Whether considering general dentistry or braces for yourself or your child, Dr. Bigdeli can review all options with you.
She knows straight teeth and a correct bite are important not only cosmetically but also to ensure muscles and joints function properly, minimizing stress on teeth and jaw that can cause problems. The benefits of orthodontic treatment are well established. She is versed in the latest state-of-the-art orthodontic appliances and procedures and designs customized treatment plans to ensure you love your new smile. She encourages parents to bring children early for consultation since some treatments are best started before the teen years.
Dr. Bigdeli earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed her Master’s in Orthodontics there. She also received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. She is a published author and former university lecturer. Dr. Bigdeli is an active member of the Academy of Orthodontic Excellence, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. She has volunteered at the Ayuda Clinic in Los Angeles, providing dental care for underprivileged children, and at the USC Orthodontic Clinic. She has treated many children and adults with complicated cases requiring extensive knowledge of aesthetics and function to achieve desired results.
When not at the office making patients smile, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and swimming. As a mother of two sons, she understands how important it is for parents and children to know how to help achieve the best orthodontic results. Dr. Bigdeli speaks English and Farsi.

I began my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Bigdeli today and have never been so excited leaving a dental office. She was very informative about the entire process and made sure to calm my nerves as I usually get very nervous with dental appointments. My treatment today was amazing and I felt very comfortable throughout it all. Usually my cleanings have always hurt as well but I didn’t feel anything the whole time! Dr. Bigdeli was wonderful and I’m super happy to begin my treatment for a perfect smile!

This was by far the best experience I’ve had at any dentist or orthodontist! Every one there was friendly and attentive. They took their time to come up with a plan for me, the first time a dentist actually did this for me. During my deep cleaning, there was constant communication. I never felt more comfortable at an appointment! They were even able to work with my time constraints and get a lot of initial work done very quickly! Thank you so much for seeing me today!
