In October 2003, I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Islamic Azad University Dental Center in Tehran, Iran. After graduation, I dedicated my skills to serving Sirik, one of Iran's most deprived areas. Sirik faced a critical need for basic dental care, with over 40,000 people relying solely on me. Working in a 24-hour clinic, I was on call every night for emergencies. Challenges such as limited equipment, no permanent assistant, unfamiliarity with the local language, and sweltering heat created a demanding environment. This unique challenge was an invaluable learning experience, instilling joy, confidence, and patience that became the bedrock of my professional journey. Upon returning to Tehran, I applied my experience to practical care. Witnessing the gratitude of patients' families was an indescribably rewarding experience that left an enduring impact. Seven years of dedication in Tehran cultivated the patience and conviction to pursue personal and academic growth in the United States. I earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University, enriching my clinical skills and broadening my perspective. I actively engage with professional organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), and Seattle-King County Dental Society (SKCDS), which provide invaluable opportunities for ongoing development. Now, I am wholeheartedly committed to utilizing my experience, knowledge, and abilities to serve the community of Bellevue and its surrounding areas.
