About Dr. Fatima Ba haroun

Dr. Baharoun earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2023. Before moving to the US, she earned her bachelor’s degree in dentistry from the University of Science and Technology Sana’a, Yemen, in 2007. Dr. Baharoun worked as a general dentist in Saudi Arabia and Yemen for half a decade before relocating to the US in 2012. While waiting to clear her national board dental examinations, she raised a beautiful family of two boys. To keep her skills fresh, she worked as a dental assistant, volunteered at various community services, and attended dental continuing education courses. In 2020, Dr. Baharoun was accepted into the international dentists program at Tufts, where she received her DMD in 2023. At Tufts, she made the dean’s list, received the 2023 AGD Senior Student Dental Award, and earned a certificate of recognition from the AAID for outstanding achievement, both academically and clinically, in implant dentistry. While at Tufts, Dr. Baharoun enjoyed volunteering at the RAM (Rural Area Medical) mission and intends to continue giving back to her community. She is very excited to serve Ashland and the surrounding communities and looks forward to gaining her patients' trust. In her free time, Dr. Baharoun enjoys crafting and spending time with her lovely husband Adil, their two boys, Hussein and Hassen, and the newest addition to the family, their baby girl Maryam.
