Dr. Fatina Shtivelman is an experienced pediatric dentist. She obtained her dental degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo. She further went on to complete her residency in pediatric dentistry followed by a fellowship in special care dentistry from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Later, she also completed a residency in general practice from Staten Island University Hospital.
Owing to her skills and expertise, Dr. Shtivelman has been certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Her current practice is centered at Gramercy Kids Smiles, New York, NY, where she sees patients for a variety of concerns, including pediatric broken tooth and tooth decay, as well as for procedures like pediatric tooth extractions.

Highly recommended for the intellectual honesty of Dr. Shtivelman. She did a thorough assessment of our 1-month baby, listened to our concerns carefully, and then provided her genuine advice about best course of action.
The entire stuff is super baby-friendly and their manners were just great. It is not easy to deal with babies/kids, but I really loved our experience.

Dr. Shtivelman and the whole Gramercy Kids Smiles team are great. My 5 year old has no issues going to the dentist and loves her goodie bag (with tooth brushes, tooth paste and other small trinkets). I highly recommend their practice.

I originally went to a pediatric dentist on the upper East side who wanted to do 6 cavities on my 6 year old! After doing some research I thought to get a second opinion… thankfully I did and found Dr. Fatina! She is AMAZING after finding her I knew my son was in the best care! The rest is history! My son loved the experience from start to finish! He didn’t want to leave! Thank you

It is such a special thing to not have a long wait time. I think my toddler and I were sitting for my three minutes when we were called back. This is so meaningful with a small child!!! It was very cheerful and pleasant in the space and the staff was so welcoming to it being Sabine's first time at the dentist. Would definitely recommend to other parents.

Great experience - quick and efficient, but thorough, asked lots of questions, gave useful suggestions. Bright clean friendly office with a tv playing coco melon on the ceiling. I was dreading the appointment as my 2.5yo is horrible with having his teeth brushed and I’ve never seen him sit so still! A great first dental appointment and we’ll look forward to coming back — now he thinks going to the dentist is the best thing!

She was so great with my son. It's not easy to clean a 2 year old's teeth. It felt a tad rushed. I realized now in retrospect that are some questions she didn't ask and I forgot to address in the moment but not at all dreading taking him back in 6 months!

She was wonderful! My son is 20 months old and cried a lot because he doesn't like to be held down, and just wanted to run around. She was so patient and spoke so sweetly to him the whole time. It really helped me be at ease throughout the appointment! The office is beautiful and felt very clean. The staff is adhering to cautious coronavirus protocols.

My 28 month son enjoyed his first dental visit. They had a tv on the ceiling which helped to distract him along with the other toys in the exam room. We will definitely be back for his 6 month follow up appointment.

Dr Fatina is just great with kids. I went there for the first visit of my 3y old and dr. Fatina entertained her all the time. It was really nice experience for my daughter. She was watching cartoons (TV on the ceiling!) during the visit and played with the big toothbrush.
Waiting time was around 5 minutes, only the time I needed to fill the forms.
