About Dr. Fedora Katz

Meet Dr. Katz Dr. Fedora Katz grew up in Bucharest, Romania. After living in different countries, she discovered the beautiful and welcoming spirit of the Pacific Northwest and settled here with her husband, Danny. Dr. Katz graduated the Dental School at the University of Medicine “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, earning her DDS diploma. She then pursued three additional years of orthodontic residency at the same school, obtaining her European Orthodontic Certificate. After practicing orthodontics in a private practice in Southern France, she continued her orthodontic education at the University of Washington where she obtained her Masters degree along with her second orthodontic specialty certificate. As a UW graduate, she received excellent clinical training for diverse settings such as preventive care, young and adult treatment, complex and inter-disciplinary cases, Invisalign, sleep apnea, digital diagnosis and CBCT interpretation. Dr. Katz has extensive research experience in the field of orthodontics, specifically digital imaging, diagnosis, and orthodontic stability. She received awards, participated in many conferences, presented posters and held public lectures.

Silverlake Ortho is the diamond in the rough everyone looks for. I have never been excited to take my kids to the orthodonist until we met Dr. Katz & her amazing team. Hands down the hardest & most dedicated doctor I've ever seen!

Every time we have come in, the staff has been wonderful. The doctor (orthodontest) has been very informative to also make sure any questions are explained. Appointments are always schedueled or reschedueled accordinly.
