About Dr. Garima Talwar

Dr. Garima K. Talwar was voted one of the Top Dentists by the Consumer Research Council in 2013. She brings 20 years of experience in cosmetic and full mouth reconstructive dentistry. She has won the hearts and friendship of many patients who have had life-changing experiences touched by her care and professional excellence.
Dr. Talwar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University and completed her Residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland. She is a Board Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of The American College of Prosthodontists. She is also a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, among other professional organizations. She continues to give back to her profession by committing her time as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics at the Dental School, University of Maryland.
Her office provides all phases and the full extent of dentistry. She is supported by specialists and general dentists who together bring complete dental care to her patients. The specialists include an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Endodontist, and Orthodontist.

My appointment was for leaning but they wouldn't clean the same day. Want to do other stuff.
It was clear for me that there were plaining to make some money. I had to wait for 30 minute to tell me that they want to other due diligence before cleaning were it will cost more then what will cost to cleaning.

They were friendly, professional and thorough. I have veneers that will need to be replaced at some point over the next few years. They took many photos (in addition to the regular x-rays), and the doctor sat down with me to review what she saw. If there had been an immediate treatment plan, this is where it would have been reviewed. After that, they completed my cleaning which was gentle in comparison to some others.

They were very thorough, however the assistant was pretty rough handling. The worst part was that I felt like I was just being sold to the entire time, they just try to sell you things after saying that you weren’t interested at the time. Very very pushy

I loved the visit. Everyone was so polite, easy to talk with. Very informative and it allowed me to be in a relaxed comfortable type of state. The entire time was extremely pleasant for me and I’m am glad they were careful with the start of my ex-Rays. I have to say again. I loved going there and plan to make Dr. Garima Talwar the only dentist/dentistry I visit for the rest of my life.

Dr. Talwar, Diana (front desk), Autumn (dental hygienist), and Irene (assisted with x-rays and initial patient photos) were all fantastic! Diana went above and beyond to help identify some confusing insurance issues. They were all very attentive and communicated thoroughly. I went ahead and scheduled my next cleaning in 6 months!

Dr Tahlaw is very kind and gentle. She continued to chk on me through out the long procedure. Knowing I was anxious she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. I am returning for another treatment today and because of her gentleness I'm not as anxious.

Dr. Talwar is patient, sweet voiced and takes her time when you need it. I've always seen Dentist who are men, what a difference a woman's touch makes. I have a swollen jaw fur to clinching and can't keep my mouth open for more than 30 seconds & Dr Talwar will stop every 30 second to let me close my mouth while her gentile touch on my face is soothing. They do gas if your anxious like me for fillings. I've been afraid of the dentist all my life but Dr Talwar may be slowly changing that. Baby steps, baby steps.

yes, I plan on seeing her again. she has alot of work to doi on my mouth. Butfor once I think awe have a dentist who truly understands my fear...and that they are deep rooted in me from my childhood and it has nothing to do with her personal.. but it is an overall fear of the dentistry profession.

Very pleased with my visit! I have not been to a dentist in years, so I was very worried that a lot of work may be needed, and Dr. Talwar was very thorough in explaining everything that needed to be done, asked a lot of questions to determine what my personal concerns were, and recommended a treatment plan to cover everything we discussed. Her assistant Amanda and receptionist Tonya (sp?) were also wonderful, very friendly and equally thorough in explaining everything. I'm very excited to begin my treatment plan and look forward to seeing everyone at Dr. Talwar's office again! :)
