“As someone with a ridiculous (read: will cry) fear of going to the dentist, Dr. Nord and his assistant kept me relatively calm.
They were absolutely wonderful in understanding my fears and told me what they were doing step by step so I knew what would happen beforehand. The dental assistant (whose name I unfortunately didn’t think to ask as I was in a near constant state of fear) was so sweet and kept soothing me.
Cannot thank them enough for this!
Dr. Nord was very thorough in relaying his information, would ask if I had any questions multiple times, and even walked me out to the front desk to relay the next steps with Tanya, the receptionist.

Dr. Gary A. Nord Jr. received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree cum laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. He then went on to complete a two year General Practice Residency where he served as chief resident of the department of Dental and Oral Medicine, overseeing residents and treating a wide variety of complex cases under general anesthesia and IV sedation. Dr. Nord Jr. then furthered his training in the specialty of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York Hospital Queens, where he learned to provide complex care to patients needing implants, cosmetic dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Nord Jr. is board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics, one of the few prosthodontic specialists to receive this honor. He is also a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
As a prosthodontist, Dr. Nord Jr. has extensive training in crowns, removable (denture) treatments, implants, complex restorative cases, and full mouth rehabilitation, as well as esthetics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Nord Jr. strives to provide gentle care in a relaxed, calming environment. He uses state of the art technology to design customized treatment plans for patients. Dr. Nord Jr. is also at the forefront of digital dentistry, scanning patients with a 3D scanner whenever possible to avoid the discomfort of impression materials, and is able to provide the best fitting dental restorations.

The worst dental cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Nord was extremely rough. He acted surprised when my teeth were healthy, which was rude.

It was a bit scary at first since I am generally scared of dentist but the atmosphere of the clinic made it calming. The dentist also helped a lot in terms of making me feel relaxed. I love how honest he was about the things I have to improve on.
