About Dr. Gaurav Shah
Dr. Gaurav Shah was born & raised in New Jersey. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
While studying in Dental School, Dr. Shah spent part of his free time researching & staying up to date with the most current topics in dentistry. His research has earned him multiple honors & awards such as: a seat as an oral session chair presenter at the International Association for Dental Research in San Francisco; the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Certificate for Excellence in Research; & the New York Academy of Dentistry’s Summer Research Grant. Following graduation, Dr. Shah continued his formal training & honed his skills by pursuing a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. He enjoys providing comprehensive treatment to all his patients with a cool, calm & collected demeanor.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time in nature, staying fit, reading & spending time with family & friends.

I had a truly wonderful experience at GPS Dental Clinic, and I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, modern, and welcoming the clinic felt. It’s evident that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that is not only professional but also calming and comfortable for patients.
Dr. Shah is absolutely superb – both as a doctor and as a person. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail, from the treatment options to the reasons behind each step. His knowledge and clarity made me feel completely confident and well-informed throughout the process. He answered all my questions with great patience and never made me feel rushed, which is something I really appreciated.
The treatment itself was smooth and efficient. Dr. Shah’s skill and precision were clearly evident, and I felt I was in safe hands the entire time. He made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in to ensure I was okay. It’s rare to find a doctor who is both technically excellent and genuinely caring, but Dr. Shah combines both qualities effortlessly.
The support staff at the clinic were equally friendly, attentive, and professional. Appointments were timely, and everything was managed with great organization.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. The level of care, the clarity of communication, and the overall environment make GPS Dental Clinic a standout in every way. I’m grateful to have found such a reliable and skilled dental professional in Dr. Shah, and I’ll definitely be returning for future dental needs. Highly recommended! Definitely a great dental clinic in this area.

Dr.Shah and his Staff at GPS Dental are top notch! Plenty of parking right in front of door to their 1st floor suite, cleanliness is prob the cleanest office I’ve ever been to and all new and modern tech for comfort. Tv on ceiling with state of the art headphones during treatment just relax and watch your favorite show and your done and didn’t even realize the time went by. Your appointment time is lengthy for any procedure so you can sit and talk and everything is explained with NO rush! I even got a tour of the whole office afterwards.They also offer options for if you don’t have insurance and finances is an issue. Not a stranger at this office more like family !! Highly recommend and send your friends!

My experience with Dr. Gaurav Shah was nothing short of amazing. He is an exceptional dentist whose professionalism, warm demeanor, patience and attention to detail ensured that I had received wonderful and comfortable treatment. He is very knowledgeable and explained all the procedures as well as answered any of my questions and concerns. His staff was also pleasant and attentive. I was also pleased with the cleanliness and the atmosphere of his office! I highly recommed Dr.Gaurav Shah for anyone seeking top-notch dental care!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Shah, he’s the best dentist I’ve had, he’s now my new dentist! He’s incredibly kind and gentle during procedures, and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. He genuinely cares about making sure we understand everything.

Dr Shah and his staff were all very professional and friendly. He walked me through all the diagnostics, the reason for each test before doing them, and explained the results right then and there! Most other dentists I’ve been to don’t bother explaining what’s wrong or why it should be fixed, but he took the extra few minutes to do so and it made it much easier to understand. He took care of multiple issues in the same visit because I live a little far away, which was very kind of him.
Very clean and modern clinic, easy to chat with about appointments and questions. Quick to get in touch with as well. Highly recommend!
