About Dr. Geoffrey Sas

Originally from Toronto, Dr. Geoffrey Sas started his studies in Dentistry where he obtained his DDS at the University of Toronto and his AEGD Certificate at the University of California. After discovering his passion in Endodontics, he completed his certificate in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University. He has several publications in the areas of the endodontic-restorative interface. He has lectured nationally and internationally and he’s currently an adjunct clinical instructor at NYU’s College of dentistry. Additionally, he is a past president of the Ontario Society of Endodontics, and the George Hare study club. In July of 2018 he proudly became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He recently moved back to south Florida with his wife and son.

Most relevant

I do not recommend this provider. I booked because I have acute throbbing pain in a tooth with a previous root canal. The office staff was very nice and accommodating. The doctor dropped in, not a smile or nice word. Very serious. After briefly looking at my teeth, including the one I have acute throbbing pain in, he ordered a scan with the explanation that he needed to see a better image of the roots. Fair enough. He didn't mention the cost or asked me if I could afford it. The assistant explained the pricing and I agreed taking the scan. Upon looking at the scan the doctor informed me that a mere redoing of the existing root canal would suffice but he wouldn't be doing it today. Ok I thought they will give me an appointment for tomorrow. They offered me an appointment for June 4. When I reminded them, that I was in pain, they gave me a new appointment for May 21. They also refused to give me a copy of the scan, that I paid for so I can get my tooth treated somewhere else.
