He then graduated with a DMD degree from UMDNJ and completed his Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Residency at University Hospital in Newark NJ. He completed two overseas fellowships in Maxillofacial surgery in East Grinstead England and Caracas Venezuela. He has been Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery since 1991. He has maintained a private practice in Central Jersey since 1992 and continues to be on the medical staff of JFK Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. He lives with his wife and son in Hunterdon County and travels nationwide with his son in equestrian events. He volunteers his time in the training of current law enforcement and military officers in life-saving blood control techniques.
