About Dr. Grant Kasal
Dr. Kasal attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, for his dental degree. In his free time, you're more likely to find him in the kitchen, where he and his fiancée enjoy perfecting new recipes together and spending quality time over a good meal.
During his time as a pre-doctoral dental student, Dr. Grant Kasal found himself drawn to the multi-dimensional world of dental radiology. He worked hard to excel in his coursework, clinical experiences, and extracurricular activities, building a strong foundation in general dentistry. From there, he took the next step in his career by pursuing radiology certification, driven by his belief that an accurate diagnosis prior to treatment is the most crucial part of caring for patients and advancing oral health care.
Following his application and acceptance into the program, Dr. Kasal spent two years at Texas A&M's College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, as a resident in the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program. There, he gained hands-on experience with advanced imaging modalities under the guidance of experienced faculty. He also had the opportunity to participate in head and neck tumor boards, collaborating with specialists across disciplines and broadening his perspective on interdisciplinary patient management; an experience that helped sharpen his differential diagnosing skills.
