However, she was inspired when a dentist visited lectured in one of her classes. She chose to apply to dental school soon after. Dr. Richter graduated Cum Laude in 1999. After completing her initial degree, she attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry for her doctorate, graduating Cum Laude in 2003. She also underwent a General Practice Residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill-Cornell University and was on rotation for three months at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Today, Dr. Richter is a member of the following dental organizations: American Dental Association Pennsylvania Dental Association Mainline Dental Society Academy of Stomatology Following school, Dr. Richter owned and operated her own boutique dentistry practice in Manhattan. During that time, she appeared as a medical consultant on Good Morning America. In 2013, she chose to sell her practice and move to the Philadelphia suburbs in order to settle down and start a family, working in private practice in Paoli for several years before eventually coming to Wayne Family Dentistry. Dr. Richter loves meeting so many people through her position. She helps her patients feel comfortable, confident, and happy with their smiles well into the future.
