About Dr. Hai Vu
Dr. Vu grew up in Daly City, CA, a suburb south of San Francisco, with his eight siblings. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine in 1990, he was blessed to receive a wonderful dental education at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. He held a brief position as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor at the UCSF Dental School from 1996 until 2000.
His passion in dentistry is to educate his patients about their dental health and overall health status and to provide solutions to treat dental health issues. His goal is to empower his patients to maintain their dental health and prevent future dental health problems.
Currently, he is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family. He counts his blessings every day for the gift of a loving wife and wonderful son and daughter. His current hobby is learning how to play the guitar. He loves the outdoors and, depending on the seasons, enjoys playing pickleball and running, especially half marathons and marathons.
