About Dr. Hamish Carpenter
With more than twenty years of experience, Dr. Hamish Carpenter brings his strong work ethic and passion for creating smiles to make a difference in the lives of Arizona residents.
He understands that exceptional patient care is a combination of both skill and compassion. He knows that every successful patient relationship is built on trust between patients and the surrounding dental team.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Dr. Carpenter moved to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where he lived for nineteen years. Growing up, he learned a strong work ethic and dedication from his parents. His mother, a registered nurse, helped deliver infants and commuted daily across the border to Detroit, MI, six days a week to support the family. His father worked as a nurse in a psychiatric ward, assisting patients with mental disabilities. Through these experiences, Dr. Carpenter gained a deep appreciation for how healthcare providers can profoundly impact the lives of those seeking care. He also learned the importance of balancing work and family.
Dr. Carpenter earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. The abundance of sunshine and warm weather drew him and his family to Arizona from the frigid winters of Michigan. When not providing comprehensive care for his patients, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with his wife, Renee, and their shih-tzu, Haley. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as golf and tennis, as well as time in the gym.

Medical care in AZ compared to CO (where I moved here a year ago) is disappointing. I have this office a whirl and wow, this professional DDS was incredibly no frills honest, respectful and solution oriented on my behalf. The tech was incredibly professional. I do need a lot of work done that I wasn’t expecting, but they offer a payment option that is NOT a cc and is accepted no matter your credit history. I’m very impressed with this dentist. Finally!!! Good medical care! ??

They really take care of you. The Doctor did some pretty major work and I honestly didn't feel any pain. The entire staff was incredibly nice and made you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a really good dentist.
