It’s safe to say that NO ONE looks forward to going to the dentist, but, Dr. Campbell was somehow able to make the experience a pleasant one! I lucked out by finding him on ZocDoc, and I will honestly never go to anyone else after this.
I was long overdue for a visit and ended up needing a lot of work done (primarily cavities) , he was thorough in terms of getting to know me/my history, taking loads of photos and X-rays and explaining my dental situation and course of action to me.
The following week we schedule a follow-up, and again, it was a great experience. On a scale of 1-10 his bedside manner is a 15. He is gentle, patient, very obviously loves his job and the opportunity to help people look and feel their best.
Lastly, the office is conveniently located near Grand Central station and is beautiful with high tech equipment.

I am very glad that I chose Dr. Campbell after doing some research on his service. His bedside manners are great! He explains everything quite well as well as answers each question with simplicity and care. He's probably one of the most personable doctors I've ever met. I normally tense up a bit in dental offices, especially the first and second visits, but not this time. The staff is also helpful and courteous. (that always helps). I have my next appointment for next week and I'm expecting more of the same. For a first visit and consultation, I give Dr. Campbell an A-plus.

Dr. Campbell is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever seen in my entire life! I have not seen a dentist in 8-10 years due to horrible experiences in the past with aggressive dentists who caused more pain to my mouth. I truly grew such a high fear of the dentist I was practically a mess when a tooth chipped. I read the reviews online and they are beyond truth! He was not only kind and patient with me but he truly took the time to talk me through his process and how he handles his patients (with complete care!) and even for my first cleaning he was super gentle and explained every single thing. I felt so comfortable and was thrilled to have found a dentist who really cared and who I am NOT afraid of! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Could not recommend Dr. Campbell more!

This review is long overdue, but I am writing it now, because of what an excellent experience I had at this office.
I come from a family of dentists, and so I am very used to the procedures, technicalities...you name it. This also makes me a pretty critical/picky customer. Right off-the-bat Dr. Campbell spent time to listen to my needs and then proceeded to perform a full cleaning and assessment of my mouth. I was so impressed by his attention to detail that I decided to proceed with a two sealants series, which were long overdue.
In past experiences, I takes about a week of "adjustment" as the sealant wears down in areas not natural to the tooth profile. I dealt with no such adjustment time after my appointment, which was outstanding!
From the nice music to the local anesthesia, I would recommend Dr. Campbell any day.

My visit with Dr. Campbell was outstanding! He greeted me as soon as I arrived to my appointment and from there provided efficient and thorough service with a genuinely friendly bedside manner. As a part of my initial visit, he made it a point to educate me about the current state of my teeth and reassured me on plans to get things back on track because it's been a while since I have visited a dentist (My experience with NYC dentist has been pretty lousy). He thouroughly cleaned my teeth while doing his best to ensure my comfort even recognizing when my facial expression showed I was experiencing discomfort. He didn't pressure me to buy 'this' or upgrade to 'that'. He set up a treatment plan without making me feel guilty, but encouraged me to continue the things I was doing well and I left feeling excited I found a dentist who will help me restore and maintain my teeth and have my smile looking beautiful for my wedding - and beyond! Definitely will recommend him to my friends and colleagues.

I did not have a pleasant experience with Dr Campbell at all. He tried to convince me that I needed a crown, when two other dentists have since confirmed that I do not. He also took around 20 xrays of my mouth with no metal breastplate on. Highly unprofessional, would not recommend.

The best thing about Dr. Campbell is his passion for what he does. This is clear from his careful and thoughtful explanations to his gentle and joyful bedside manner. No one loves going to the dentist, but Dr. Campbell makes the process a little less painful (literally and figuratively).

Absolutely outstanding. As someone who has not been to visit the dentist as often as he should have, Dr Campbell made me feel totally comfortable and was very thorough. He went through everything he was doing so that you had full confidence in his ability.
Beyond that, he is extremely friendly and a man who obviously loves his job. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Campbell was incredibly thorough. He and his assistant spent over two hours with me. He took lots of pictures of my teeth and explained what was going on and how he would fix it, and then took "after" shots to show me the difference. He and his assistant were both very informative. And he was there for the whole procedure, including the cleaning, and called my insurance company personally. I never felt rushed which is rare in a medical setting. Very pleased with the experience.

Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Campbell. I avoided the dentist for at least 5 years because of bad experiences in the past, but that won't be the case anymore. Dr. Campbell and everyone in the office is extremely kind and professional. Dr. Campbell explains every little move he's making to ensure the patient is comfortable, and truly embraces the "pain free dentistry" philosophy. Highly recommend!
