About Dr. Harvey Chin
Harvey Chin, DDS, is a second-generation Chinese American and has been happily married to his wife for over 30 years. They have three children (two boys and one girl). Originally from Sacramento, CA, Dr. Chin enjoys football, basketball, and baseball, along with snow skiing and hiking in the outdoors.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School and completed postgraduate studies at UCSF. His favorite music is “Oldies, But Goodies,” and his favorite TV shows are on the “Food Network” (food and dentistry go together, you know!), along with rooting for the San Francisco Forty Niners. His passion lies in the field of dental implants for Baby Boomers, hoping they can say: “No more dentures!”
Dr. Chin is a member of many professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the U.S. Dental Institute for Orthodontic Studies, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the American Association of Endodontists. In addition to being the only Diplomate of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants in Nevada-and one of only eight in the entire United States-he is also the only implantologist in Nevada who practices following the guidelines set forth by the Academy of Minimally Invasive Implantology.

I had the pleasure, yes, I said pleasure, to experience Dr. Harvey Chin, Pam and Lorena, today, at Vegas Dental Experts. Like many, I have never looked forward to a dental appointment. Particularly not with a new doctor. The manner in which I was greeted by Lorena, met and had the initial exam with Pam and, then, the courteous, kind, extremely knowledgeable interaction with Dr. Chin, made me completely comfortable. The examination and subsequent explanation of very fair charges added to my comfort level. I will have no fear of visiting Vegas Dental Experts in the near or distant future. I heartily recommend them. Especially for senior citizens (I am 81).
