About Dr. Hassan Farooq
Dr. Hassan Farooq is an experienced dentist who believes in building long-lasting relationships and has a special place in his heart for keeping patients comfortable. He is continuously improving by taking extensive continuing education on the latest concepts in dentistry. He possesses in-depth knowledge of general dentistry procedures, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, surgical and nonsurgical extractions, multi- and single-rooted endodontics, and fixed and removable prosthodontics.
He has extensive training across multiple areas of dental care, with a strong interest in restorative dental work. Dr. Farooq is enthusiastic and experienced in handling dental emergencies and comforting patients, helping them overcome fear and providing a compassionate, pain-free dental experience.
Dr. Farooq attended Loma Linda University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and received an award for ?Excellence in Clinic? in 2017. During his time there, he completed a two-year program for international dentists consisting of accelerated and intensive training in dental techniques used in the United States.
He has developed and polished diverse clinical skills in various disciplines of dentistry and gained extensive clinical experience. He demonstrated a special interest in restorative dentistry and fixed prosthodontics by restoring more than 40 teeth with crowns and fixed partial dentures, including implant-supported restorations.
Dr. Farooq is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia Dental Association. He is Invisalign? certified and proficient in CEREC restorations (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics), a technology that allows quick impressions and custom-fit fillings so patients can be out of the clinic sooner.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Farooq enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and traveling.
