Dr. Hemamalini Chandrashekhar is a board-certified Orofacial Pain Specialist, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, and AADSM Qualified Dentist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She specializes in the minimally invasive management of TMJ disorders, facial nerve pain, chronic headaches & migraines, and sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Chandrashekhar is known for her compassionate, multidisciplinary approach—combining advanced diagnostics, evidence-based therapies, and a deep understanding of the interconnected systems affecting head, neck, and facial pain. Her treatments include custom oral appliances, trigger point injections, low-level laser therapy, neuromodulator therapy (Botox for MIGRAINES & TMJ), regenerative options as well as adjunctive non-invasive treatments (ultrasound).
She completed her advanced 2-year Orofacial Pain residency in the U.S. and has trained in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at institutions including UCLA, Rutgers University, and Nair Hospital (Mumbai). She was an Assistant professor in Oral & maxillofacial Surgery in Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai.
