Dr. Hoda Ghanizadeh is a friendly and dedicated general and cosmetic dentist with more than 10 years of experience based in San Antonio. She earned her Doctorate Of Dental Surgery from the University of Health Science Center In San Antonio.
Dr. Ghanizadeh is making every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry. Hands down, one of the best dental experiences we’ve ever had!
Dr. Hoda Ghanizadeh and the entire team are top notch from start to finish. From the moment I scheduled the appointment, I received friendly, helpful reminders leading up to the big day and as a busy mama, that alone meant the world to me!
Check-in was easy breezy, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. But what really stood out was how they treated my son. The whole team made Angelo feel safe, heard, and they were so patient with him which completely transformed his experience. He walked out feeling confident and cared for, and that says everything.
I would absolutely recommend this office 1,000%.
Kind, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in how they care for their patients.

This is one of the best experiences I have had at a dental office. The doc I had an appt with had changed her hours and Zocdoc wasn’t notified….but I had a painful, cracked, infected tooth and they moved me to a provider in the office that day, I just waited awhile to be seen but that was perfect for me to let me catch up on emails, pay bills and make other appointments. Everyone I was in contact with had a great bedside manner and were very client orientated…the other provider was fantastic! Explained what was going on and he plan of action to take. Him and the assistant kept checking on me to make sure I was ok through the process…I’m happy I found them!

Aesthetic centered dentistry.
The office was very clean with a modern look - very white, marble counters, ambient house music playing quietly. Checking in was easy.
The intake process was very long and lengthy. It took about an hour for the exam. They performed x-rays and a 3D model of my teeth, but I’m moving soon and just needed a cleaning. So, the visit being 2 hours overall was annoying.
The dentist was a bit pushy with wanting me to purchase procedures like Invisalign or teeth whitening and responded “we’ll revisit this next appointment” when I said no. The hygienist was also insistent on me leaving a review. Here I am.
Overall, not an entirely unpleasant visit. My teeth were cleaned, and I did not have unpleasant experiences with any of the actual dental work. However, the salesmanship and aesthetic-centered care was over the top for me.

This is the best clinic I've ever been to. They listen to your every concern, and explain things in detail with visuals as well. They made sure I was always comfortable. When it came to co-paying they broke it down for me, and helped me applied for financing when I was declined by another. Staff was very friendly. I'm sticking with this clinic in the long run, and hopefully bring my family over as well.

Best dental experience ever, if that’s possible! The office was bright, clean, and inviting. There was a fantastic playlist playing throughout the office. The TV monitor in the waiting room played videos of tourist destinations that were very calming, considering the upcoming appointment.
The office used great, advanced technology. Every staff member was kind, and Dr. G had the best energy ever! She is so upbeat and optimistic. Even the cleaning was quick and efficient! The dental chairs were ridiculously comfortable, and they played an ocean-floor video with amusing creatures, which I found calming before the cleaning. Overall, this was a great dental experience and worth the 35-minute drive. For the first time in my life, I will look forward to returning to the dentist! How weird is that?!! : )

My first visit - Immaculate facilities! Staff was friendly and very professional. - Was seen promptly - Advised that I had hearing difficulties and they accommodated well to my disability. Full mouth x-rays were done quickly by an expert and personable technician. Dr. Ghanizadeh far exceeded my expectations and experience with other dentists. She has exceptional inter-personal skills and patiently and thoroughly explained her findings and recommendations. My best compliment: Look forward to my next appointment!

Modern Touch Dentistry was terrific from start to finish. Their staff was very understanding and quick to schedule an appointment at an appropriate time that fit my schedule.
Dr. Ghanizadeh was knowledgeable, excellent, and professional. She explained the procedure that I needed to be done with ease and patience (2 fillings). Her work was also exemplary! I didn't feel any pain whatsoever, and the procedure went smooth and comfortably.
I've had many fillings done in the past where other Doctors just put it in and didn't really care about my bite (telling me it should be fine). But with Dr. Ghanizadeh, I truly felt she managed, taking as much time as I needed for my bite to be perfect.
Lastly, I would highly recommend Modern Touch Dentistry for anyone with dental needs; they are truly a dentistry that cares for their patients and work.

I came for a new patient appointment at Modern Touch, office was super nice and clean. This was the most detailed new patient exam I have had done in my life. I had a couple cavities and Dr.Ghanizadeh made sure she showed me all the cavities and answered all my questions. I highly recommended this office to my friends and family.

I was told I had 6 cavities, but the doctor didn't show me the x-rays or point out in a mirror to show me what she was talking about. I was also very concerned about the hygiene as the woman who was assisting the doctor with x-rays was touching a lot of things and then putting her hands in my mouth. I mean keyboards, computer mouses, unsterile surfaces. they did a scanner with my teeth, and it would have been cool to see where my cavities were on the big screen, but she didn't show me anything. after I told them I didn't want to pay for the treatment, the dentist seemed like she didn't want to put any effort in to the cleaning, and the fluoride application she did was only on the front of my 4 top teeth, instead of all of them.

If you are looking for a dental home, Modern Touch is your choice. Dr. Ghanizadeh works hand in hand with Dr. Marashi to provide the best quality of care for their patients. From your first visit to any follow ups you will always feel welcomed, but more than anything your dental needs will always be their priority. I will 100% recommend their dental office, no doubt!

Where should I begin this? Visiting a dentist have always been complicated for me until I went to Modern Touch Dentistry! Trust me, they are on another level of dental treatment. Their clinic is super clean, modern (omg the vibe) and relaxing. From the moment they check you in, you start feeling special :)
Treatment:
They first thoroughly scanned my whole mouth with their top-notch devices and there was this 3D scanner device which showed my whole teeth in 3D (it was very cool). Then Dr. Ghanizadeh patiently explained every single details and the treatment procedure. I had bunch of cavities and one of my teeth needed a crown. It took 2-3 hours and I didn't even feel anything wrong. I was lucky that by the end of treatment, both Dr. Ghanizadeh and Dr. Marashi were in the room and provided the summary of my treatment.
I think after all these years, I have finally found a dental clinic that I can trust and keep visiting. Highly recommended.
