In addition, he has a special interest in root canal therapy, allowing patients to keep teeth that were removed in the past. Howard Silver DDS Like his colleagues, he views dentistry as a doctor patient partnership, taking time to listen and understand the individual needs and desires of each person. With that philosophy, Dr. Silver blends the art and science of dentistry so his patients can achieve their highest level of oral health, esthetics and function in a comfortable and relaxing setting. After earning his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1982, Dr. Silver completed a general practice residency at Cornell-New York's Goldwater Memorial Hospital the following year. His training continues to this day by participating in a wide variety of continuing education programs to ensure he remains up-to date with the advances in technology and materials in dentistry. Howard is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society. Dr. Silver is an Invisalign provider, a virtually invisible solution to straighten teeth to get the smile you always wanted. Dr. Silver resides with his wife and 2 sons in Fairfield County Connecticut. When not caring for his patients, he enjoys hiking, bike riding and cooking.
