Dr. Kimm earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he gained extensive experience in comprehensive and complex dental care. He continued his advanced clinical training at New York University College of Dentistry, completing programs in Advanced Education in Implant Dentistry and a Certificate in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Through this training, he developed expertise in periodontal surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and soft tissue procedures. His research has focused on the relationship between oral health and systemic conditions, including studies on periodontitis and obesity, oral infections and cardiovascular disease, and genetic factors associated with periodontal disease. Dr. Kimm combines his scientific background with a patient-centered philosophy of care, emphasizing clear communication, precision in treatment, and long-term patient relationships.
