About Dr. Ian Wolf
Dr. Ian Wolf believes that there is no better time to get dental work done than now. The pace of dental technology and material science allows for esthetic and functional dentistry to be done in the most conservative manner while producing the best result for the patient. He brings a unique approach to the care he provides and is recognized by his colleagues and patients for his attention to detail, honesty, competence, and compassion.
After graduating, he worked in the biotechnology sector. Opting for a career change, he moved to NYC to attend the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. During his senior year, he was selected to participate in additional training in the surgical and prosthetic placement of dental implants.
Dr. Wolf completed his residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center while simultaneously continuing his education at the renowned Pankey Institute. After working in private practice, he decided to pursue another year of dental residency with an emphasis on dental implants and prosthodontics while working alongside some of the most accomplished doctors in their respective fields.
On the weekend he can be found biking through Central Park and browsing the produce stands at the farmers market with his family. Dr. Wolf resides in the Upper West Side and during his spare time enjoys exploring all of the restaurants, museums, and parks that the city has to offer.

This was my first visit. The staff we very friendly and informative. The clinic is tucked into an older building and is comfortable and welcoming. Dr. Wolf was easy to chat with and gave a helpful appraisal of my current dental situation. The dental hygienist was very thorough in the cleaning and spent time explaining the best ways to care for my gums with better brushing and flossing. I'm happy with my switch to this practice.

Expertise. Care. Perfectionism. These are the qualities that define Dr. Wolf and lead him to achieve consistently outstanding results. I had Dr. Wolf recontour my teeth after clear alignment treatment, as well as provide restorative dental work. During these various treatments, he was always cheerful and compassionate, clearly explained the process, patiently responded to my queries, solicited (and was open to!) my feedback, and didn’t rest until he achieved optimal results that satisfied my needs and expectations—all the while applying state-of-the-art methods and technology. I could not recommend Dr. Wolf more: even in a city full of great dentists, he’s certainly a rare find.

Dr Wolf was very knowledgeable and sensitive to me being in pain and took his time to explain what we was doing each step of the way. I am grateful for this office!

My experience at Oasis Dentistry was wonderful! I appreciated being able to make an appointment on a Saturday and the location is super convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly and personable. Gabriel the hygienist did a great job; he was thorough, ensured I was comfortable, and spent time educating me. Dr. Wolf was so nice, approachable, and patient; he ensured all of my questions were answered and explained everything I needed to know before my next scheduled visit. Overall, I’m super pleased with this practice and glad to have Dr. Wolf as my dentist!!

My visit was amazing. I’ve never had to wait . Ian was very punctual and kind and very helpful during the beginning process. When it came time to begin he first started off by explaining the steps that would be taken to make sure I was completely fine and comfortable with everything. I highly recommend this person because he was more concerned with my well-being and be comfortableness and he went above and beyond.
