About Dr. Igor Chikunov
Parlor Dental was born from Dr. Igor Chikunov's vision to create a beautiful, modern space where patients ages 12 and up can receive quality dental care.
We currently offer:
- Preventative Care
- Restorative Dentistry
- Prosthodontics (Aesthetic Dentistry)
- Emergency Services
Our office accepts all PPO insurances on an out-of-network basis, and we file claims on the patient's behalf. Everyone deserves access to the best possible preventive dental care, which is why we offer an in-house dental care membership for patients without dental coverage. We've also partnered with Cherry payment plans, so all our patients can fit their dental needs into their monthly budget.
We believe that quality, accountability, and transparency are the most important qualities in a dental office. That's why our team focuses only on what we're skilled and trained for-not just everything under the sun.
Dr. Igor Chikunov earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a three-year Certificate in Prosthodontics through the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program at New York University. He further advanced his education by completing a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
After graduating from the Maxillofacial program, Dr. Chikunov returned to his alma mater, where he currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Fixed and Implant Prosthodontics Simulation. He also practices in Tribeca, NYC.
Outside of dentistry, he is a tinkerer and lover of the visual arts. He enjoys interior design, trying new foods, and traveling around the world-whether doing outreach or seeing the sights.

Dr. Igor is the most professional dentist i have ever had and the office space is beautiful. i love the price transparency and how they do the claims for you. parking is a little hard on the weekends but it is absolutely worth it. 10/10 would recommend
