About Dr. Ioana Tricorache
Dr. Tricorache is originally from Bucharest, Romania, and she graduated from Bucharest Dental School in 1995. After relocating to the US, she studied dentistry again at New York University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1999.
Following one year of residency at Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan, she began practicing in both Manhattan and Staten Island. She currently maintains practices in both locations.
After a few years of commuting to Staten Island, Dr. Tricorache became a resident of the Island and started expanding her practice.

Best dentist ever! She knows what she's doing, has an extremely gentle touch, and explains what's going on with your teeth in a way that puts you at ease even if it involves root canal work. I won't go so far as to say I look forward to going to the dentist, but since she's been taking care of my teeth every visit to the dentist has been a pleasant experience.

Very impressed with my visit. There wasn't a long wait at all. I was nervous as I had not been to the dentist in quite a while but the assistant who cleaned my teeth was great and eased my concerns. The doctor was prompt and informative. Overall I highly recommend this practice.

I needed to find a new dentist, as my previous stopped taking my insurance. I decided to check out Dr. Tricorache after seeing her on my insurance site & here. Her technician gave me the most pleasant cleaning I've ever had in my life. She was super gentle and thorough. Both the technician and the dentist answered all of my concerns & I scheduled my next 6 month appointment right away.

I would recommend anyone in NYC or Staten Island who needs a great dentist to make their next appointment with Dr. Tricorache. Not only was her staff friendly and helpful but Dr. Tricorache was amazing. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

This was my first visit. The office staff is very kind and professional. The office is really beautiful and super clean. The assistants to the dentist are very helpful. Most important, the dentist gave very good advice in my situation, and did not rush to do anything that may not be necessary with my situation. I really liked her, and immediately made an appointment for my husband for his exam and cleaning, and I will be going back to her shortly. She is a very kind doctor.. I also asked their office to call me to confirm my appointment as it was the only one available, and they called me right away.
