About Dr. Isis Sikainga
Dr. Isis Sikainga is a general dentist at Soul Dental in New York City. Originally from
Ohio, she spent her early life between Dubai and the USA. After receiving her
bachelor’s degree from Yale University, Dr. Sikainga returned to Ohio to obtain her
D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State College of Dentistry. During her time in dental
school, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholar award and was selected to
participate in the student admissions committee as well as various outreach programs.
Dr. Sikainga completed a general practice residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center, where
she worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide treatment for a diverse
patient pool.
Dr. Sikainga believes mindful compassion and communication are key to providing the
best experience for her patients. By approaching treatments in a personalized,
preventative & conservative manner, she believes that this can help alleviate the anxiety
that many face with oral health. Known for both her clinical skillset and her ability to put
patients at ease, Dr Sikainga believes listening to each patient thoroughly is the first
step towards a positive outcome for her patients. Dr. Sikainga has had experience
working with a wide demographic of patients and is bilingual in English and Arabic.
During her time off, Dr. Sikainga enjoys spending time in the city exploring specialty
coffee shops, attending live music events, and pursuing a hobby in photography.

Front desk weren’t the best at explaining the process and follow up. The dental hygienist definitely made up for my visit but I will not be returning to the office.
