Dr. Jacob Kaufman grew up in Newberg, Oregon. He spent a year in Minnesota where he wrestled for the Golden Gophers. After OSU, Dr. Kaufman earned his DMD at Oregon Health and Science University, where he served as class president. Dr. Kaufman is passionate about making patients feel comfortable in the dental office. His focus is to create a dental home for his patients where they can accomplish their dental goals. Dr. Kaufman lives near the Roots Dental Office with his Partner Jan, and their two dogs Dillard (after Damian Lillard) & Olive. He loves to get outdoors backpacking and camping. On the weekends you’ll likely find him at a concert listening to live music in Portland. Dr. Kaufman enjoys the variety of general dentistry, helping patients achieve oral health, and improving smiles. He is devoted to honing his craft through continuing education and regularly takes CE courses as a member of Spear Education. Dr. Kaufman loves providing high-quality dental care to his local community.
