About Dr. Jacqueline Magallanes
Dr. Jacqueline Magallanes is a compassionate and talented dentist, born and raised in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Prior to opening Teeth and Things with her husband, Dr. Rosales, Dr. Magallanes worked as an associate in private practice providing general dentistry care, including cosmetic, surgical and pediatric services.
Dr. Magallanes is passionate about building relationships with her patients and assuring they feel safe and comfortable in her care.
“So often we are met with patients who say they hate the dentist. My favorite part of my job is turning that perception completely around. I am able to build a meaningful and trustworthy relationship with my patients. My philosophy is built on mutual respect, patient education and autonomy, and excellent dental care.”
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Magallanes enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family, reading and traveling.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Magallanes and staff, from great welcoming and chair side. I was nervous from my extraction, but staff made it a great smooth appointment. First time getting a tooth extracted and ovrall healing went well.

I recently got Botox injections and I am incredibly pleased with the results! Dr. Magallanes is the best dentist in town! She was very attentive during the consultation and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. The injections were quick and practically painless.

I got Botox here, I noticed a significant reduction in my wrinkles within a few days, looking much more refreshed without appearing over done. I would definitely recommend Dr. Magallanes at Teeth and Things to anyone considering Botox.

I was looking for a new dentist and had my initial appointment here. I saw Dr. Magallanes. She was professional, informative, gentle, caring, and compassionate! Everything you want and need in a dentist! Tania the receptionist is Awesome! Personality Plus! She is the first face that you see and she is truly an asset to this office!

I called in the morning to see if they could do an emergency wisdom tooth removal for me, and Tania was able to schedule it later that same afternoon. Dr. Jackie was the one who performed the extraction on me, and she was excellent during the whole procedure and very helpful with the aftercare information!

Great doctor, the front office/scheduling is beyond exceptional, incredibly helpful and kind. They follow up with you to make sure you are doing okay and are a pleasure to talk with as well. The office staff is excellent also. They were all trained and everyone there greets you with a smile.

I want to share that I always been scared to go to the dentist because of the care I have gotten in the past. I hadn't been to a dentist for over 2 years and I knew I was going to need a lot of work once I made it to the appointment, Tania and Dr. Jackie reassured me that we can so little by little. I never felt pushed to do anything I didn't want to.

Have been coming here for over a year and just recently have been seen by Dr. Jacqueline. She is kind, professional and made my fillings practically painless I couldn't recommend this place more. All of the staff is so warm and friendly especially Angelica. who reached out after each appointment to check in on me and make sure I was feeling okay!

I had a very pleasant experience from the moment I walked in the door. All staff were very friendly and kind, big beautiful smiles everywhere! The doctor was very nice, and explained all the procedures and went over xrays and recommendations in detail. I definitely recommend!

I always have a positive experience at my appointments with Teeth and things. I always dreaded going to dentists, but everyone at Teeth and Things make the appointments run smoothly. They actually care about your dental needs, and don't try to upsell you on procedures you don't need.
