Amani, at last minute notice, coordinated my visit with my care team to ensure that I could make my doctor’s appointment across town immediately afterwards & kept me posted in real time about my appointment status. Jackie efficiently cleaned my teeth in record time; I sent them off 20 minutes earlier than requested. Aside from the excellent amenities the office provides, the most relaxing & professional treatment I’ve had at a dental office. Would highly recommend!”

About Dr. Jake Lee
Dr. Jake Lee completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at New York University and his Doctorate Degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He continued his 2-year advanced training in General Practice Residency at the James J Peters Bronx VA Medical Center as Chief Resident, and expanded his skillset in full mouth rehabilitation, implants, cosmetics, oral surgery, endodontics, and removable prosthodontics.
Dr. Lee strives to personalize dental care by delivering comprehensive and quality treatment that caters to the patient’s specific needs. He focuses on creating a safe, comfortable environment for patients of diverse backgrounds and medical/dental histories to achieve optimal oral health. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the New York Dental Society and is devoted to actively learning the advancements in dental technology.
Dr. Lee grew up in an artistic family, and has been passionate about music and art ever since he was just a kid. While he participated competitively in music and art when he was young, he now has translated this passion into avidly supporting visual and performing arts. You can often find him either at a matinee show or a Chelsea gallery, enjoying the exciting culture New York City has to offer.

Dental appointments give me major anxiety & I thought my appointment w/ Dr. Lee was going to be no exception. Boy was I wrong. From the moment I walked in I received the warmest welcome from their amazing staff. Dr. Lee’s assistant Mikey called me in almost immediately & so it began. Mikey held my hand & Dr. Lee numbed me up; that made all the difference. Throughout my procedure I felt no pain or discomfort, with some good music playing. Both Dr. Lee & Mikey checked in with me every few minutes to make sure I was good. It was amazing — absolutely the exception of all my dental experiences.

My hygienist, Yanna, is the best there is. Gentle & thorough, leaving me feeling like a million bucks every time. Dr. Lee is thoughtful, listens & treats you like a human & not an opportunity to make a buck. He was easy to talk to & left everything painless & gleaming. I’ve also had an emergency visit with Dr. Guttman & she was phenomenal too. Love Lumia & the whole team is A++++.

Lumina Dental is excellent! Dr. Lee was my dentist & Maria was my hygienist. They were both very patient & addressed all my concerns . Their exams were also very thorough . The office is clean & modern, & staff is incredibly friendly & patient. They take the time to explain everything & make sure you're comfortable throughout your visit. HIghly recommend!

Lumia Dental offers a one of a kind experience. I have been looking for a dentist for over 3 yrs. I finally found a review on Yelp that spoke highly about Lumia so I decided to give them a try. What a great experience that was. Front staff was warm & courteous. Then I was sent to Dr. Lee & let’s just say I’ve never felt more at ease at a dental office in my life. Thank you Lumia Dental, you have allayed all my dental trauma!

I had a great experience at Lumia. By the time you walk in, the girls in the front office greet you with a big smile. The place is sleek, clean and state of the art. Dr. Lee and his assistant Chloe were very friendly and caring. Dr. Lee explained to me in detail the work needed to be done by walking me through the x rays images. He made me feel comfortable, and he provided exceptional service. By the end of the session, my teeth felt the cleanest they’ve ever been! They also provided me with a goodie bag with dental hygiene products! I will be definitely going back!
