Dr. James McMenamin is a highly respected, board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has served the Warren community for the last 35 years. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. McMenamin attended Seton Hall Prep in South Orange, NJ, and then went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Following his undergraduate, he attended Rutgers School of Medicine and Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He then pursued his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency training at Jersey City Medical Center where he currently holds the position of Chief of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the Director of the program. Additionally, Dr. McMenamin was the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Director of the Dental Department at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center for 18 years, until its closure in 2008, where he contributed to the education and training of students in his field. Dr. McMenamin has received extensive training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental alveolar surgery, implantology, bone grafting as well as orthognathic surgery and trauma surgery. When Dr. McMenamin is not in surgery, he enjoys golfing and traveling with his wife Barbara and is the proud father of 4 children. He is a member of Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey, and Ballyliffin Golf Club in Ireland.
