About Dr. James Stambaugh

James H. Stambaugh, D.D.S completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 1983 and completed a General Practice Residency program in 1984 at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. A Denver native, Dr. Stambaugh practiced general dentistry 29 years in Denver prior to joining Cody Dental Group in 2013. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Metropolitan Denver Dental Association. He has attained Life Member status of the Colorado Prosthodontic Society and is a member of Elevate Dental Study Club (a Seattle Study Club). Dr. Stambaugh is a dental representative on the Medical Advisory Board for the Cherry Creek School District. Dr. Stambaugh enjoys golf, fly-fishing, skiing and photography. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Denver Southeast. He is a board member of the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation and coordinates Rotary’s volunteer activities at Ruby Hill Elementary. He has four grown children and seven grandchildren all located in the metropolitan area. Dr. Stambaugh was previously a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.
