About Dr. Jamie Sands
Born and raised in Beverly Hills, Dr. Sands has spent more than twenty years helping patients from across Los Angeles enjoy beautiful and healthy smiles.
A graduate of the University of the Pacific Dental School with high honors, Dr. Sands is certified by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontists, and the American Academy of Dentists and has taught at the USC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sands completed additional studies to specialize in TMJ and occlusion, including a one-year residency in occlusion (understanding and diagnosing bite issues) in Texas. In addition to her specialized understanding of occlusion and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Sands remains abreast of all current and upcoming practices and techniques, continuously expanding her knowledge and areas of expertise via hundreds of hours of CE a year.
Dr. Sands has shared her expertise on CNN, Fox 11 Los Angeles, The Doctors, and programs on the E! Entertainment Television Network. She has also been named one of LA’s Top Dentists by Los Angeles Magazine for 5 consecutive years.
Away from the office, Dr. Sands volunteers her services at Care Harbor/LA Free Clinic, the Children’s Dental Center of Greater Los Angeles, MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), and Give Back A Smile, where she helps domestic violence survivors with cosmetic dentistry. She is also an avid painter, sculptor, yoga practitioner, and marathon runner.
