“My dentist and her assistant were incredibly helpful. However, I encountered an issue with my insurance coverage. Before my appointment, the dentist’s office informed me that my insurance was accepted and that I was in-network. I have two insurance plans, both of which are PPOs.
After my appointment, I was surprised to learn from the front desk that my insurance was not accepted, despite the initial confirmation. They offered a discount for out-of-network services, which resulted in a significantly higher charge for a routine cleaning. I was perplexed and questioned the discrepancy.
I received a follow-up message confirming that my insurance was indeed accepted and that I had two options for dental insurance (both PPOs). The office assured me that they would investigate the matter and get back to me. For reference, I have Aetna and Blue Cross.
I strongly advise calling the dentist’s office before booking an appointment to double-check your insurance coverage.”

Dr. Mueller and her staff were remarkable. I scheduled an emergency appointment to address a broken tooth. The office communicated with me ahead of time and let me know to plan for parking, as it is sometimes difficult to find parking in Andersonville. I was able to easily find parking a block away, which was great. The office has a clean, comfortable, and modern aesthetic.
Everyone seems to really enjoy their jobs, even at the end of the day. Shannon took me back quickly, explained what she would be doing, and was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. When Dr. Mueller came in, I knew that I was in good hands. Again, she explained clearly what was going to be happening. She empathized with the discomfort of having to do dental work, and eased my anxiety. The dental work itself is fantastic! I truly cannot tell just by looking which tooth was repaired. It’s a perfect color match.
