Our practice was established in 1984 by our founder, Dr. Janet Refoa, D.D.S., D.M.D. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry. Dr. Refoa is a highly skilled surgeon and clinician. During her 22 years of illustrious career, she has received numerous accolades for her scholastic achievement, surgical skill, integrity in business, devotion to her work, and commitment to the community.

I had a dental emergency, an infection that was swollen and purple and needed an emergency appointment. I booked an appointment with this dentist. She had three appointments available and when I showed up the office wasn’t open. I called the number. No one picked up and no one ever called me back

Booked my appointment a few days in advance. Showed up to the office on Saturday for my appointment and they were closed. Sign outside said “open Saturday”. Not sure if they didn’t see my appointment or what but it was very annoying.

They rescheduled me twice and I had to rearrange my work week to accommodate. When I arrived I sat for an hour before the first hygienist (a young lady) greeted me. She was lovely, but she disappeared after taking my ex-rays and then Dr. Refoa came to examine me. Dr. Refoa seemed very knowledgable and had a great and hopeful solution to my dental concerns, however she also disappeared and the office manager came with a credit card machine to my dental seat asking me to pay fees that insurance wouldn't cover right while I sat in my seat. I have never been accosted while I sat in the seat. It did not make me feel comfortable. Then another hour passed and a very rude young man came to clean my teeth. He yelled at me when I complained of pain and rushed the cleaning. He didn't sufficiently clean my teeth and yelled again when asked about it. He only went back and finished the job when I pointed at spots he missed that were on my x-ray. He was very rude and I left in a hurry after that.
