About Dr. Jason Auerbach

Auerbach is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. This dual certification – and the expertise it reflects – enables Dr. Auerbach to provide patients with the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including those requiring intravenous sedation or general anesthesia, at either of Riverside Oral Surgery‘s specially equipped and staffed offices. Dr. Auerbach’s areas of practice emphasis include dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Auerbach attended New York University’s College of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree and graduated with honors. He then completed the prestigious Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Auerbach’s belief in the importance of education and training is evident in his dedication to the residents at Hackensack University Medical Center where he volunteers his time. Dr. Auerbach is also on staff at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. Highly recruited out of training, Dr. Auerbach joined a prominent Park Ave practice in midtown Manhattan where he honed much of his office-based surgical skill. Eventually making the decision to bring his family from New York City to Bergen County to practice in northern New Jersey, Dr. Auerbach began to focus on merging exceptional care with the patient experience to form what ultimately would become the basis for Riverside Oral Surgery. Dr. Auerbach founded Riverside Oral Surgery in 2007 and in so doing began to realize his vision of providing the optimal patient experience through clinical excellence, compassionate care, and close attention to every detail.
