About Dr. Jeff Buizastrow

Dr. Buizastrow earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he was selected for the Honors Special Patient Care Elective. This program was the first of its kind and provided comprehensive oral health care for patients with advanced disabilities throughout the tristate area. At NYU, he developed a strong interest in technology and dental materials research, contributing to a study on CAD/CAM Zirconia that was published in the Journal of Dental Materials. After dental school, he completed advanced training at the East Orange Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Jersey, where he provided comprehensive dental care to U.S. veterans. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for endodontics and the rewarding challenge of relieving pain while saving natural teeth. Following his residency, Dr. Buizastrow practiced as a general dentist in the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. He then pursued his Master of Science in Dentistry and Endodontic Specialty training at Loma Linda University. His master’s thesis, “Impact of Maxillary Sinus Mucosal Thickening on Endodontic Outcomes: A Retrospective CBCT Cohort Study,” is pending publication in the Journal of Endodontics.

Anyone not looking forward to a root canal, need not worry! Dr. J. Buizastrow, Den was excellent in treating my excruciatingly painful tooth. He was very gentle from the very beginning. To my surprise, I felt no pain throughout the entire procedure. I have total trust in his work and would gladly recommend him to everyone. He was professional, kind, and patient. I had a really great experience.
